Bahraini-Indian relations commended
Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed received President of the Indian National Congress party, Rahul Gandhi.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received President of the Indian National Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.
The Foreign Minister congratulated Rahul Gandhi on winning the presidency of the National Congress Party.
He praised the progress of the longstanding bilateral relations, which reflects both sides' keenness to further boost them and broaden cooperation in various areas, pointing out the important role of the Indian community in promoting Bahrain's economy.
Rahul Gandhi expressed delight in visiting Bahrain and meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirming his country’s keenness to further develop the bilateral relations in various fields.
He wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The Minister then hosted a lunch banquet in honor of Rahul Gandhi and the accompanying delegation.
