Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil, on Tuesday headed to Costa Rica where he met with President Luis Guillermo Solis over the means to bolster the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially on the diplomatic level.
President Solis heaped praise on the role played by the Lebanese Diaspora in Costa Rica, noting that 20 000 expatriates and people of Lebanese origin live in this Latin country.
Bassil also met with a crowd of the Lebanese Diaspora, whom he called to participate in the Diaspora Energy Conference to be held in Beirut in May, as well as in the upcoming legislative polls
