The British government is launching a global campaign to try Daesh terrorists during a high-level meeting that is hosted by British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on the first day of meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York city on Monday.
The campaign is themed "Bringing Daesh to Justice."
In a statement, a copy of which was obtained by MENA, the Dubai-based British media and regional outreach center said the meeting will be attended by the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, Iraq and Belgium.
The meeting offers an opportunity to outline plans to back national and international efforts to try Daesh terrorists, according to the statement.
