British police are chasing down suspects after the explosion that took place on the train in west London, leaving 29 people injured, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said on Saturday.
There are many urgent inquiries ongoing, with hundreds of detectives involved, looking at CCTV, carrying out forensic work and speaking to witnesses, Sky News channel reported, quoting Rowley as saying.
Daesh terrorist group on Friday night claimed responsibility for London bombing attack at Parsons Green underground station in the west of the capital.
Following the attack, British Prime Minister Theresa May raised Britain’s terror threat level from severe to critical, indicating a further attack may be imminent following the Parsons Green tube bombing.
