The Saudi Cultural Mission in London seeks to join hands and exchange experiences with the leading UK businesses and Saudi Arabia on educational programs, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Saudi Cultural Attache Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Maqwashi as saying.
The cooperation area will also cover investment in human resources, development of educational institutions, volunteer programs and organization of exhibitions in foreign countries, he said.
Al-Maqwashi’s remarks came following his meeting with Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al-Faraj, deputy president for Strategy and Business Development at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, at his office in London.
They discussed aspects of cooperation between the Cultural Mission and BAE in areas related to serving scholarship students and means of bolstering joint social responsibility.
Al-Maqwashi said the meeting touched on the exchange of experiences between the Cultural Mission and BAE in supposing post-Ph.D research work.
He referred to the BAE’s experience with the British Council in supporting programs of Saudi academics to cover many areas including cancer, traffic planning, common diseases in the Kingdom, family violence, irrigation with salt water, protection of Arab tiger and nutritional values for children.
