The Islamophobia Observatory of the Egyptian Dar Al Ifta welcomed calls to study the judicial follow-up in European courts of cases related to inciting hatred and racial discrimination in the mass media.
Participants in an expert meeting of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Islamic Development and Research Academy (IDARA) in the Belgian city of Ghent were invited to make the study.
Muslim communities and minorities were also invited to establish human rights observatories to follow up legislative and legal developments in European countries.
