The Supreme Council of Culture announced that Egypt will host the third international forum for African cultures interaction under title “Popular cultures in Africa” on November 13-16 in Aswan.
In statements on Sunday, the council secretary-general Hatem Rabie said that 100 researchers, intellectuals, novelists and artists from 20 African countries are expected to attend the forum.
He added that the forum will discuss a number of cultural issues, adding that a book fair and a visual art exhibition are planned to be held on the sidelines of the forum.
