Egypt, Uganda seek boosting joint cooperation in irrigation

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aati discussed with two members of the Ugandan parliament joint cooperation, especially in the fields of agriculture and irrigation.
The Ugandan delegates requested Egypt's technical assistance in the fields of agriculture and irrigation in light of its long experience on this score.
The field of Egyptian fertilizers is promising as Egypt exports fertilizers to other countries, he said, adding that they discussed organizing a Ugandan investment forum similar to that Kenyan one that was recently organized.
