Egyptian-European business council lauds US's classification of Egypt as safe country for travel

The Egyptian European Business Council, under Mohamed Abul Enein, lauded the US State Department's decision classifying Egypt as a safe country for travel and tourism.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the council said that the US State Department decision demonstrated Egypt's readiness to receive US vacationers during Christmas holidays.
Abul Enein asked the Egyptian government to capitalize on the US decision to promote tourism in Egypt.
He expected the number of inbound tourists to Egyptian cities and governorates, topped by Luxor, Aswan, Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, would increase in the coming period.
