The US Agency For International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Alexandria Business Association (ABA) organize on Monday the first forum to outline a strategic plan called "Cooperation for production and employment".
The forum, which will continue for two days, aims to improve employment and productivity in Alexandria through launching a network for labor force development.
The forum also will focus on how to build a platform for collective thinking about the connection between education and training and then to the labor market. It will also discuss the importance of coordination and cooperation to build networks for labor force development.
Through several working sessions, the forum will discuss the serious challenges of youth employment, technical education and vocational training in Egypt.
Representatives from the USAID in Egypt, about 100 participants and leaders from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade and Industry, mass media, youth, non-governmental organizations, business organizations and employment agencies will take part in the forum.
