Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh met on Saturday with Chairman of the Executive Board of the Libyan National Transitional Council Mahmoud Jebril to discuss the latest developments in Libya and bilateral cooperation. The Jordanian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that the two parties stressed on the special bond between the people of the two countries and the distinctive bilateral ties. They also stressed on their keenness to enhance those relations in all fields. Judeh described bilateral relations as "deep and historical", adding that Jordan always took the position of protecting the Libyan people during their revolt. For his part, Jebril stressed on Libya''s keenness to keep relations with Jordan distinguished on all fields. in addition of keeping the constant talks and communications with Jordan in a way that could benefit the two countries.
