The State Security Department at the Federal Supreme Court today sentenced a group composed of Arabs and Canadians, to six months imprisonment, to be followed by deportation after serving their jail terms.
The defendants were accused of establishing links with the Lebanese Hezbollah party, setting up and managing an international group inside the country. They did so without obtaining any licence from the government before 12th October, 2014.
The court also heard a number of cases related to the state security in the presence of relatives of the defendants, defence lawyers and media representatives.
