The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council arrived here on Thursday to attend a joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between GCC and Turkey.
UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash, Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al Khalifa, Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Jassim al Thani, Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid al Hamad al Sabah and Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in Riyadh last night.
The meeting is set to discuss joint cooperation in the different domains between the council and Turkey as per a joint action plan as well as current political issues, the latest security and political developments in the region and international efforts to combat terrorism.
