Spokesperson for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Agnes Romatet-Espagne on Friday affirmed his country's full support for efforts to achieve the Palestinian reconciliation, as well as the return of the Rami Hamdallah-led government to Gaza.
In statements, the spokesperson said his country has been calling ardently for a long time for the reconciliation process
She added that the return of the government to Gaza should allow the Palestinian Authority to fully exercise its prerogatives in the Gaza Strip, including in the security area, as well as paving the way to the reconciliation process.
The French spokesperson said the new developments should help facilitate the lifting of the blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza strip.
