Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov discussed on Tuesday with the UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura the ongoing Syrian-Syrian dialogue in Geneva.
The Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva reported that Gatilov discussed with de Mistura the fifth round of Syrian talks in Geneva and its prospects.
On Monday, Gatilov said it is too early to assess results of the fifth round of the Geneva talks on Syria, stressing the Russian diplomats’ readiness to stay in Geneva till the end of the current round of the Syrian-Syrian talks, which started on March 23rd, and to meet all participating parties
