German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Saturday arrived in Kabul for talks with President Hamid Karzai, the Afghan foreign ministry said.
Westerwelle and Karzai plus Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul were meeting to "discuss the outline of Afghanistan''s expectations in Bonn", foreign ministry spokesman told reporters here.
He added that Afghanistan had already presented Germany with a document outlining how it sees its "long-term partnership with the international community and their mutual obligations".
The two sides were also discussing German preparations for the Bonn conference on Afghanistan on December 5, which will discuss Afghanistan''s future beyond 2014, when NATO-led international combat troops will leave.
