The President of the Council of Ministers Saad Hariri received today at the Grand Serail the Acting UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ms Pernille Dahler Kardel, who said after the meeting: "I just had a very good meeting with Prime Minister Hariri. He welcomed me very warmly to Lebanon and it is an honor and a pleasure to be here.
I am really looking forward to continue the very strong relationship between the UN and Lebanon. We discussed the upcoming issues that would be on my agenda as I take up my job leading UNSCOL. The agenda is full of issues that are relevant for continuing discussions about the critical issues on Lebanon's peace and security and on stability and economic development.
I am looking forward to adding my part to the continued cooperation between the UN and Lebanon
