King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received General Sir John Lorimer.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Safriya Palace, the United Kingdom’s Defence Senior Advisor on the Middle East Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer, on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain.

 

HM the King welcomed General Sir John Lorimer and hailed deep-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

 

He hailed long-standing joint history of cooperation and coordination, particularly defence and military affairs, between the two friendly and allied countries.

 

He reiterated mutual keenness on developing bilateral relations on all levels for the sake of joint goals and mutual interests between the two friendly countries and peoples.

 

HM the King commended the pivotal UK-led role in the international arena as well as its crucial contribution to strengthening regional and international security and stability.

 

HM the King reviewed with General Sir John Lorimer regional and international developments, in addition to issues of mutual concern.

General Sir John Lorimer commended the efforts exerted by HM the King to bolster solid historic friendship ties and consolidate military and defence cooperation between the two friendly countries.

 

He commended the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as its contributions to strengthening security and peace in the region.
