Human Appeal International, HAI, in Ajman has launched a humanitarian initiative to provide water and juice to thousands of workers at many construction sites around the emirate.
Khaled Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Executive Director of HAI, explained that the initiative is part of HAI’s humanitarian initiatives and projects that comply the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to designate 2017 as the Year of Giving, and in solidarity with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s campaign to ban work during noon time, under the sun and in exposed areas.
He also pointed out that the initiative, which has helped hundreds of workers in Al Jurf, Al Nuaimia and Al Sawan in Ajman, confirms HAI’s role in promoting social responsibility by providing this humanitarian service to construction workers, who represent an important part of society.
Al Khaja stressed that HAI aims to continue organising many humanitarian initiatives that strengthen the values and culture of co-operation and solidarity, to support and help members of the community from various sectors.
