Illegal immigration attempt thwarted in Tunisia
Tunis - MENA
As many as 118 people have been arrested in Tunisia’s Sfax Governorate, the Tunisian Interior Ministry said in a statement.
About 101 illegal immigrants were arrested when their boat broke down near the island of Kerkennah.
Seven others were on board another boat heading to the island of Kerkennah for an illegal crossing to Italy, the interior ministry said.
