Commander of the Iranian Border Guard Units General Hossein Zolfaqari announced that his forces have mended sign posts all along the country's border with Iraq.The border posts were erected in cooperation with Iran-Iraq joint technical committee which is tasked with demarcating the two countries' borders, the commander added. He said his forces have mended the sign posts along Iran's Southwestern and Western borders with Iraq, and "we will continue our work to the Northwest if the situation is fine". "We hope to complete our work by the next year," Fiqari added. Iran and Iraq set up a technical committees to mark the borders that were damaged during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran in 1980s.
