Iran's permanent Representative to the United Nations Mohammad Khazaei, in a letter to the UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon, strongly protested against US baseless and false claim on plotting to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington. 'I express my disgust at the claim made by the US officials against Iran about participation of my country in plotting assassination of a diplomat in the city of Washington,' read the letter in part. It continued that Iran caterogically denies such baseless and fake accusation upon suspicious claims of a person. Khazaei wrote that every country can accuse others with such stories, but it could be a dangerous method in relations between countries. The letter said that Iran has always condemned terrorism in all different forms, because it is a victim of terrorism and a clear witness is recent assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists in the past two years by the Zionist regime supported by the USA.
