Iranian president talks to his Iraqi counterpart

Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, talked to Iraqi President, Jalal Talebani, on Friday. Ahmadinejad met his Iraqi counterpart on the Fourth day of his travel to New York. The two officials discussed regional and international developments in the meeting. The Iraqi president thanked to Iranian officials and nation for their help to various Iraqi political groups, both now and during the Saddam dictatorship. Talebani also praised Tehran contribution to restoration of peace and stability to the war-torn country.
