Israeli F-16 warplanes carried out a number of airstrikes in the early hours of Tuesday morning on Rafah and Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others. Mousa Ishtewy, 29, was killed in an airstrike that targeted a group of people east of Al-Zaytoon neighborhood, southeast of Gaza city. Two other Palestinians were heavily injured during the strike and are still being treated. A number of tunnel workers were also injured and transferred to hospital after a strike on one of the Rafah tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip.
