The Israeli army Thursday arrested eight Palestinians and summoned four others for interrogation across the West Bank, according to security sources. Israeli military vehicles raided the northern city of Nablus and arrested a Palestinian after raiding his house and ransacking its contents. Two Palestinians, including a college student, were also arrested in an Israeli raid at al-Maajeen area west of the city. In Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian in al-Shawawrah, a village east of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching his house. A Palestinian was arrested in Siris, a village south of Jenin, Thursday morning after Israeli forces raided his shop in the village. The Israeli army also handed four Palestinians from Siris summons to report to the Israeli intelligence center at Salem, south of Jenin. In a related matter, Jewish settlers from Mevo Dotan settlement attempted Friday night to break into Arrabah, a village south of Jenin, but were stopped by the Israeli army. Israeli forces raided the city of Hebron, arrested two Palestinians and took them to an unknown location, while another Palestinian was arrested in Samou, a town south of Hebron, after the Israeli army searched his house.
