Member of Parliament Farid Khazen ruled out on Thursday talks of a likely resignation of Ministers representing the Reform and Change Parliamentary bloc from cabinet. Khazen, in a talk show with the "Voice of Lebanon" radio station, lambasted the Parliament's decision on Wednesday to mull Deputy General Michel Aoun's Electricity related project law. He deemed this barefaced evidence, exposing the Parliament's irresponsibility handling Aoun's proposal. "Minister Bassil (Water and Energy Minister Gebran Bassil) did not make up a new (electricity) plan on his own within the last two months," Khazen said, affirming that the same sides that opposed the endorsement of the electricity project law, had approved it when representing the former cabinet. "The former cabinet approved this project after conducting a detailed study on its content. Even the World Bank and other countries gave their consent to the very same project," Khazen added. "This is sheer virulence on the opposition team's side."
