Kuwait and Turkey have signed six accords and agreements during the official rounds of talks chaired by Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.
A protocol to enhance a previous agreement within double taxation was signed between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anas Khaled Al Saleh and counterpart Naci Agbal.
An agreement to develop Kuwaiti-Turkish cooperation within the youth domain was signed between Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry as well as Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khalid Al -Roudhan and Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Askin Bak., Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Minister Al Roudhan also signed an agreement within the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with Turkish Minister of Technology and Industry Science Faruk Ozlu.
The agreement in the civil aviation was signed by Kuwait's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid Jarallah and Director General of the Turkish civil aviation Bahri Kizaci.
Al-Jarallah signed an agreement in telecommunication and Information Technology (IT) with head of Turkey's information and telecommunication authority Omer Fatih Zayan.
The two nations also signed a security agreement to train Turkish and Kuwaiti personnel with Kuwait National Guard's (KNG) Lt-General Hashim Al-Refaei inking the agreement with Turkey's Gendarmerie General Command General Arif Cetin.
Shaikh Jaberwho arrived in Turkey on Wednesday on an official visit met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and presented him a written letter from His Highness the Emir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah
