Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najeeb Abdulrahman Al-Bader presented his credentials, at a Presidential Palace ceremony, to Albanian President Bamir Topi, as Ambassador Extraordinaire. Ambassador Al-Bader told KUNA, he conveyed the regards of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Albanian President, wishing him lasting health and the Albanian people prosperity. During the meeting, the Ambassador said that he would do his best to further bolster bilateral relations on all possible domains. For his part, the Albanian President requested that the Ambassador convey his greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership. He also affirmed Kuwait's role in boosting development programs in Albania, which reflects the deep historic relations between Kuwait and Albania. Albania is one of the members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Council of Europe, International Trade, and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It is also an EU member since 28 April, 2009.
