Kuwait's PM meets Canada's Governor General

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met the Governor General of Canada David Johnston Sunday evening at his residence in Ottawa, and conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Canadian head of state and people. His Highness expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality with which he had been received during his visit. He noted this reception speaks of the level of relations between the two nations and leaderships.His Highness and Johnston discussed bolstering cooperation in politics, economy, trade, and investment. Current regional and international issues and issues of mutual concern also came up.The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the premier.His Highness Sheikh Nasser's official several-day visit, which started Sunday, is the first of its kind to Canada by a senior Kuwaiti official.
