Islamabad - Irna

Pakistani Parliamentarian and Human Rights activist Senator S.M Zafar said on saturday that US would fail to weaken Islamic republic of Iran through baseless accusations. Speaking to IRNA Senator Zafar of Pakistan's Muslim League-Q agreed with the statement of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that the Iranophobia policies of the arrogant powers would not bear any result in the region. “Iran’s establishment is an Islamic Republic which is tantamount to an Islamic democracy,” said the Supreme Leader, stressing that real involvement of people in all affairs was a must for the existence of such an establishment. Ayatollah Khamenei said the main reason for efforts by the global powers for propagating Iranophobia was attributed to Iran’s becoming more powerful day by day. Noting that US has always targeted Iran with hostile policies, the politician added that the unity of Iranian nation has stopped US from taking any military adventure. He was of the view that despite western conspiracies, the Islamic Revolution has been flourishing in Iran for the past 32 years. “Iran's Islamic Revolution is now bearing fruits”, he added. The senator said that US has failed to accomplish its plots against Iran. He noted that US economy was deteriorating now and the country caould not afford a military adventure at any part of the world. “Poverty is on the rise in US”, he stated. Ayatollah Khamenei, referring to the increasing strength of the Islamic republic of Iran, has noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Armed Forces were respected in the region. The Supreme Leader also said that Americans were trying hard to gain control over the region’s developments, but the nations have got awake and the oppressors’ policies would bear no fruit. “Yes I agree with the Supreme Leader”, said S.M Zafar The politician said that the Islamic Revolution was attracting people from many countries of the world adding that people of Muslim states wanted their countries to be governed under Islamic laws. Senator Zafar added that US was pursuing the policy of sowing seeds of hatred among Muslim countries. The politician said that US allegations that Iran was plotting to assassinate Saudi ambassador to Washington were baseless. “It is like a pre-fabricated story”, he opined. “This is a plan to create misunderstanding between Iran and Saudi Arabia”, he warned.
