Malaysian Defence Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reiterated that there has been no land grab by Malaysia on any part of Indonesian territories and said that the people of both countries should not quarrel about it. He added that he was made to understand that the land-grab allegation was triggered by internal politics, according to Malaysian (Bernama) News Agency. "We have no intention to interfere in the internal politics in the area, but we hope that the issue is not politicised," he told Malaysian journalists. Ahmad Zahid, who is here to accompany the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. He thanked Indonesian leaders, including Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, Political, Law and Security Minister Djoko Suyanto, Home Minister Gamawan Fauzi and Defence Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro for clarifying the matter. "This is further supported by the statement of Indonesian Armed Forces chief Admiral Agus Suhartono who said that there have been no problems relating to the alleged shifting of border markings," he said.
