The Minister of Interior and Qatar University (QU) signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on strengthening the cooperation in the fields of higher education, scientific research and exchanging educational and training expertise.
The MoU was signed by HE Advisor to the Minister of Interior Major General Dr. Abdullah Yousuf Al Mal, Vice President of Supreme Council of Police College and QU President Dr. Hassan Al Derham.
HE Al Mal said the MoU is a reflection of the strong relation between the ministry and the university in the different scientific fields.
HE the advisor referred to QU’s cooperation and contribution to establishing the Police College saying, the cooperation is ongoing especially in the scientific fields and the students’ researches for the different ministry’s units. He added that the MoU signed between both parties aims to organize and develop the scientific research and strengthen this cooperation.
On his part, Al Derham said the MoU aims to strengthen the joint cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, in addition to exchanging expertise in all scientific, research, culture, training, technology and other fields which contributes to achieve the desires of the Qatar National Vision 2030
