Egypt's prosecutor general on Monday summoned ousted president Hosni Mubarak to appear in court to face charges he ordered the killing of protesters during February's revolution, regional media said. Mubarak, 83, has been under detention in a hospital in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where he is being treated for heart problems. His transfer to a prison hospital in the capital, Cairo, has been repeatedly delayed due to his health problems. The first hearings are scheduled for August 3 in Cairo. Mubarak's sons, Gamal and Alaa, will also be tried on charges of corruption.
