Mufti receives Malaysian delegation

Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam received a high-level Malaysian delegation for talks on promoting cooperation between Dar Al Iftaa and Malaysia's religious affairs body to spread moderate teachings of Islam and counter extremism and terrorism.
Dar Al Iftaa is willing to provide all forms of religious and educational support to Muslims in Malaysia and train their imams, Allam said.
The delegation said Malaysia is seeking the promotion of religious cooperation with Al Azhar and Dar Al Iftaa.
