Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

Invest NI, the economic development agency for Northern Ireland, has organised a stand for the first time at this year’s NAJAH Abu Dhabi, to showcase the region’s world-class education sector and promote opportunities for study in Northern Ireland.

Known for its inspirational locations and stunning landscapes, Northern Ireland is also recognised as having one of the best education systems in Europe. Every year, thousands of international students travel to study at one of its universities, boarding schools, vocational education colleges or English language schools. As well as having a world-class education system, Northern Ireland is also renowned for its high quality of life, low cost of living, clean environment, lively social scene and friendliness of its people. The region has excellent connectivity to other UK cities and continental Europe, with daily flights to a range of destinations as well as a direct flight to the US.

Northern Ireland’s world-class universities, Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, will be present at the Northern Ireland stand at NAJAH to advise potential students, parents and education counsellors of options for both undergraduate and postgraduate study.

Queen’s University Belfast is in the top one percent of universities worldwide and ranked 25th in the world for international outlook. The university is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of research intensive universities within the UK and is world-leading in food security, global health, cyber-security, peace, security and justice.
