Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, today condemned the recent wave of violence committed by the Indian forces against the Kashmiri people, which left many dead and wounded.
Ihsanoglu called on, in a statement issued by the organization, the Indian authorities once again to exercise restraint and avoid excessive use of force and to respect the will of the Kashmiri people and their rights and to help improve the security situation in Kashmir and the entire region.
