A senior Pakistani columnist on Friday said that US military plot to create rift among Muslim nations would fail. US military plot against Ummah would fail: Pakistani columnist Talking to IRNA, Irfan Siddiqui said that there is absolutely no justification of American military interference in Muslim countries. “US is afraid of unity among Muslim Ummah, trying to threaten them militarily”, he added. Irfan Siddiqui said that the US has to change its policy against Muslim countries. “The US is loosing its grip on power”, he said. Highlighting the importance of uprisings in Muslim countries, he said that these are popular movements to seek liberation from external and internal hegemony. He pointed out that efforts to demonize the Islamic forces have not been successful. He stated that one thing is obvious that the Middle East would experience a change in times to come. The analyst said that western countries are trying to create rift among Muslim countries but ‘we must remain vigilant against such conspiracies’. Irfan Siddiqui was of the view that American anti-Islam policy is not a strange phenomenon. “They have been conspiring against Islamic countries after the collapse of Soviet Union”, he added. The columnist said that they (Americans) are afraid of unity of Islamic block”, he said. “The US wants Muslims to remain ignorant”, he said. He said they are using force in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and even Pakistan but what have they achieved, nothing but embarrassment. “One thing which is clear that American military presence cannot save regimes of despotic rulers”, he said. Irfan Siddiqui said that the US backed the dictators who subverted the human rights, using their own people and soldiers as surrogates in proxy wars. He said today several countries are witnessing popular uprisings against their long-term rulers. “It is in fact a movement against American dominance”, believed Irfan Siddiqui. Columnist went on to say that America is interfering with the affairs of Arab countries for its own interests. “The rulers of Muslim countries must look towards the interests of their people”, he advised. He said that for past many years the US has been working on a plan to divide Muslim states and take over the control of their recourses. The senior journalist said that Muslim countries should not allow the US and its Western allies to accomplish their evil designs against them. Irfan Siddiqui said that hatred against the US has been intensifying in Muslim countries because of their anti-Islam policies. Irfan Siddiqui is the well-known member of Jang group and is a senior columnist.
