Maintaining that Chinese leadership wants peaceful resolution of all problems with India, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday said the two countries can live in peace and amity despite their border dispute. 'India and China are neighbors, we have problems, the border problem is a long-standing problem, but it is my sincere hope, it is possible for us to find ways and means by which the two neighbors can live in peace and amity despite the persistence of the border problem,' he told journalists on board special plane while replying to a question, pti reported. He noted that the teo countries have agreed that peace and tranquillity should be maintained along the border and therefore, by and large, it was so. 'Sometimes something appears in the newspapers in our country, something appears in the newspapers in China. That I think invites comments. But overall our relations are quite good,' Singh said, when asked whether there was threat perception from China. He said he has good working relations with President Hu Jintao, Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, adding, 'I am convinced that the top leadership of China wants peaceful resolution of all problems that exist between India and China.'
