Polish Ambassador in Cairo Michał Murkociński said that he is proud of celebrating the 90th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Poland and Egypt this year.
Giving a word on Sunday on the occasion of Constitution Day that marks the declaration and adoption of Poland's first constitution on May 3, 1791, the diplomat said that despite the political changes that took place in both Egypt and Poland, the two countries managed to promote friendship and cooperation in all fields.
This year, Poland celebrates the 80th anniversary of Poland's participation in archaeological excavations on the banks of the Nile Valley, he added.
