His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today saw off his Thai counterpart General Prayut Chan-o-cha, who left Bahrain, wrapping up an official visit during which he held talks on strengthening joint cooperation.

HRH the Premier hailed his counterpart’s visit, commending the fruitful talks to bolster relations and enhance joint ties binding the two friendly countries. He described the key visit as a fresh start which would expand joint cooperation towards achieving both friendly peoples’ aspirations and strengthening friendship.

The Thai Premier paid tribute to HRH the Premier for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, hailing his keenness on strengthening friendship which, he said, contributed to building a model of partnership and fruitful cooperation. The Deputies, state officials and Thai Ambassador was also present. The two sides issued a joint statement at the conclusion of the visit.
