President issues Decree to establish Federal Authority for Identity

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued Federal Decree No. 117 of 2017 establishing the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Identity and Naturalisation.
The Federal Decree stipulates that the formation of the Board of Directors of the authority under the chairmanship of Ali Mohammed Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, and Talal Humaid Belhoul as the Vice Chairman, and a representative of each of the Ministries of Presidential Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Supreme Council for National Security, and the General Authority for the Security of Ports, Borders and Free Zones.
The Decree sets the council's membership to three years, subject to renewal, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
