The former leader of the Right Cause party, billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, said he would return to politics as soon as the Russian society is ripe, his press service said on Tuesday. "Prokhorov said Russia needs changes, but conditions should be ripe. They aren't yet... that's why he decided to quit the party. However, the businessman stressed that he would return to politics as soon as conditions are ripe," the statement reads. The billionaire also said he now drafts a program of the Russian society development. Prokhorov left the Right Cause after accusing some party members of illegally registering new members in his absence to win a majority and vote against his leadership. He said the party was "the Kremlin's puppet project," and said he would set up a new one.
