Upon the generous directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to ease the suffering of the Arab people stranded in Libya owing to the events taking place there, a ship carrying 880 passengers arrived at the Sea Port of Tobruk from Misurata. The ship was carrying Libyan, Tunisian, Moroccan, Sudanese, Syrian and Iraqi passengers in addition to British nationals. Immediately after the arrival of the ship to the Sea Port of Tobruk, all passengers other than Libyan were transferred by land to the Egyptian border on way to their respective countries. The trip comes in completion to the previous trips the State of Qatar has organized for evacuating the Arab people stranded in Libya because of the events there.
