NATO has no information on where the ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi took refuge, Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen told reporters in Prague. "I have no information whatsoever about his whereabouts, and let me add to that, he is not a target of NATO operations," Rasmussen told reporters during his visit to Czech Republic. "We are in Libya to protect the civilian population against attacks and we will continue that operation until there's no threat," he said. In an interview with the CTK news agency the NATO Secretary General said it was too early to speak about when the international operation in Libya will end, but added that NATO had already reached the final phase of the operation. According to unofficial information from Libyan sources, Gaddafi could be hiding in Bani Walid, one of the last bastions of forces loyal to Gaddafi, or in his hometown of Sirte.
