Islamabad - Arab Today

Federal Minister for Interior Prof. Ahsan Iqbal said on Saturday that some politicians rejected by the masses were creating hurdles in the smooth way of national progress and
prosperity by doing negative politics.
Addressing a big public meeting at Baddo Malhi, district
Narowal after inaugurating a gas supply project, he said that
such elements had no space in future politics as politically
matured people would again reject them in general election 2018.
He said that masses knew the manifesto of ‘Dharna politics’.
He said the PML-N government had successfully put the country
on road to progress and prosperity.
Positive and effective economical policies of the PML-N
government were bearing fruits and the desired results, besides
bringing day by day betterment in national economical indicators,
he added.
The Interior Minister said that there was no doubt to say
that Pakistan had now become an ideal country for foreign investment.
Ahsan Iqbal said the PML-N government had ended the black era
by ending load shedding besides starting the journey of lights with
peace and prosperity in Pakistan.
He claimed that Pakistanis were being provided an uninterrupted
power supply for 22 hours.
“There used to be a 22-hour load-shedding schedule in the past,
but the situation has changed now”, he said.
The Minister said that Imran Khan had no experience of running ministry, saying that Imran Khan didn’t produce even a single
megawatt electricity in KPK.
He said the armed forces of Pakistan had broken the backbone
of terrorism in the country, saying that Pakistan would continue
to play its frontline role for weeding out terrorism, extremism,
insurgency and militancy.
The Minister said that Pakistan was committed to uproot terrorism, saying the whole nation stands united to weed out terrorism and was
ready to sacrifice even their lives to defend the motherland while
battling against terrorism shoulder to shoulder with the armed
forces of Pakistan.
