Arab Today, arab today Saudi Arabia: Report is continuation of Qatar’s distortion of facts

A Saudi Foreign Ministry
Jeddah - Arab Today

A Saudi Foreign Ministry official said that the report about the phone conversation between the Saudi Crown Prince and the Qatari Emir as published by Qatar News Agency (QNA) did not have any relevance to the truth and was a continuation of the distortion by the Qatari authorities of facts.

The report clearly proves that the Qatari authorities have yet to understand that Saudi Arabia does not have the slightest willingness to tolerate the altering of agreements and facts, as evidenced in the distortion of the truth regarding the call received by the Crown Prince from the Emir of Qatar a few minutes after it was over, the official added, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The fact is the call was at the request of Qatar and was a request for dialogue with the four countries – Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt - on the demands they made in June.
As such an attitude proves that the authorities in Qatar are not serious about dialogue and are continuing with their previously rejected policies, Saudi Arabia declares that dialogues and communication with the authorities in Qatar are suspended until they issue a clear statement in which they state their position publicly and that their public statements conform to their commitments.
The kingdom stresses that Qatar’s floundering policy does not promote the building of the confidence required for dialogue
