Syrian FM: EU wants strife in Syria

Syria's Foreign Minister Walid Al Muallem said on Wednesday the European Union's reaction to President Bashar Al Assad's speech on Monday showed it wanted to "plant strife and chaos" in the country. Muallem told a media conference in Damascus that his country, which has seen three months of protests against Al Assad's rule will not accept demands from "outside Syria".
