China’s Special Envoy for Syria Xie Xiaoyan reaffirmed China’s position which is based on supporting dialogue as the means for resolving the crisis in Syria.

China’s Special Envoy for Syria Xie Xiaoyan reaffirmed China’s position which is based on supporting dialogue as the means for resolving the crisis in Syria.
In a statement to journalists on Friday, Xie said that the Syrian people are the only ones who will decide Syria’s future, affirming China’s readiness to participate in the reconstruction stage and that it will encourage Chinese companies to establish projects in Syria.
He also stressed the need for uniting international efforts during the reconstruction stage, saying that participation in this process must be without preconditions and with guaranteeing the safety of companies working on the ground
