Terror plan foiled by police in Islamabad

The Islamabad police on Thursday recovered weapons and ammunition from a vehicle entering federal capital, foiling a terror plan, private tv channel reported. According to Geo Tv report two accused were also arrested by the police. Police say a suspected car was stopped at a toll plaza on a major highway in Islamabad and upon checking heavy arms were recovered. Two accused present in the car were also arrested and transferred to the police station along with the car. It is likely that the suspects were planning to launch a serious terror activity. Further investigations are underway. Last week the Islamabad police had recovered a heavy cache of weapons and ammunition from a vehicle.
