Chairman of the Tourism Promotion Authority (TPA) Hisham Al Demery started on Thursday a business trip to Warsaw and Kiev to meet major tour operators there.
Al Demery said the trip aims at exploring the work strategy of tour operators in both countries concerning Egypt's tourist destinations this summer and during the next winter season.
He added that the authority will share its plans for the 2017/2018 winter season with both sides and discuss ways of boosting tourism cooperation within the next period.
He said the Ukrainian and Polish tourist markets are among the most promising markets that were highly developed over the past period.
He said Polish and Ukrainian tourist arrivals to Egypt hit more than 120 percent in the first six months of this year compared with the same period last year but still they are less than the 2010 rates.
